IACT students learn marketing communications from highly qualified professionals. Beyond the classroom, students acquire practical experience through industry internship, and gain leadership skills through membership in the school’s CreAcTive student’s ad agency. Many IACT students additionally participate in InterAd-IAA’s annual global student advertising competition. Here they excel-winning Asia Pacific Regional Awards year after year. In year 2000, IACT won the prestigious InterAd World Championship Award. Given this background, its no wonder that IACT students are in demand.

To date IACT has conferred more than eleven hundred IAA Diplomas. Many graduates currently hold top-level positions throughout the region. The school maintains close alliance with the professional community- most notably the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents and the Malaysian Advertisers Association. IACT continuously updates its course; and is currently working with other IAA Accredited Institutes in developing an advanced integrated advertising program for young professionals. The Institute has been approved under the Malaysia Higher Education Act, with all its Diploma programs approved by the country’s National Accreditation Board. Our college, popularly known as IACT is a unique education setup as it is an entity borne out of the collective attempts of the advertising and communication industry to formulate an effective system of education and training for new entrants and the working professional in the industry.

As such the orientation of IACT will be preparing students for careers in the advertising and communications industry. Our courses are industry-focused and students are job ready. In fact many students gain employment even before they graduate.

This is made possible because IACT ensures the following - professionals teach and advise on the curriculum, students have ample industry projects to undertake throughout their studies, students undergo a three-month compulsory internship programme guaranteed and mentored by IACT.

IACT works closely with the advertising and marketing communications industry to ensure the curriculum is need-based and practical and yet maintains high academic standards. Our diploma graduates require only ten months to 18 months to graduate with a choice of degrees from our affiliated universities in Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland and USA.

All our programmes are approved by Lembaga Accreditasi Negara (LAN) and IACT is also accredited to the International Advertising Association in New York.
