"IACT College is how a college was intended to be..."
When we were deciding on our college's theme - 'The Specialist College in Creative Communication', a few considerations came to the fore. Firstly, do we have the experience in Creative Communication training? How are our graduates doing in the real-world? Are we endorsed by the industry and are we applying industry guidelines in the way we teach and mentor?
IACT College has 17 years of Creative Communication training experience, and in all those years, we have been producing highly skilled and industry relevant graduates who are now leaders in their respective fields. Our graduates are trail blazers and savvy industry leaders that occupy senior positions in companies like McCann Erickson, Naga DDB, Saatchi and Saatchi, Ogilvy and Mather, Leo Burnett, Grey Advertising, GlaxoSmithKline, and Star Publications; just to name a few.
IACT is unique because it is the only college that is founded, endorsed and co-owned by the pretigiuos Association of Accredited Advertising Agents, Malaysia (4As) and the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA).
Furthermore, to ensure that IACT programmes meet the demand for skilled professionals in mainstream industries, we have appointed top business leaders to our Board of Governors. These industry captains will equip IACT with the wisdom and vision to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
With our extensive experience, proven track record and close ties with the industry; IACT College is truly 'The Specialist College in Creative Comunication'. To ensure that we remain relevant with the global shift towards 21st century educaton, the college will be implementing experiential and 'learn by doing' education methods in 2011.
With all this going for the college, I am proud to say, "IACT College is how a college was intended to be" - a place where thinking and learning is engaging, where you will find your passage to the world and our place in it, and where you will meet a diverse group of course mates, many of whom will become your lifelong friends and colleagues.
