GPRCFMY 2025 is also supported by a coalition of influential organisations, reflecting a powerful cross-sector collaboration. Present at the Signing Ceremony were:

Datuk Kamalanathan shared,

“This conference is a unique opportunity to listen to tomorrow’s communicators and help shape the future of the industry. We’re blending the vibrancy of a festival with the rigour of a global summit. This is about mentorship, learning and inspiration.”

The conference will also offer a platform to address critical challenges impacting the PR and media sectors:

  • The rise of fake news and the growing influence of AI
  • The need for freedom of expression and ethical communications
  • Lack of recognition for PR as a core leadership function
  • Crisis management best practices drawn from real-world case studies

Behind every successful organisation, especially in times of crisis, stands a strong communications team. It’s time the industry gets the recognition it deserves,” Datuk Kamalanathan added again.

While this year’s edition focuses on Malaysia, organisers have set their sights on turning the event into a biannual, regional platform.
