As a student of IACT, you will enjoy a myriad of benefits. You will have an advantage that sets you apart as students in the field of communications.

As the nation’s specialist creative college, we are proud to say that our graduates are relevant, and future-ready to meet the demands of the digital economy. From pre-university to undergraduate studies in advertising, digital marketing, branding, broadcasting and film, graphic design, mass communication, media studies, journalism and public relations, when you study with us, you are ensured of a professional qualification from one of the best schools of creative communications in the country.

At IACT, we do not just teach creativity...WE INSPIRE IT!

Here is the IACT Advantage that extends far beyond your very own specialised area of study:

1. World-Class Qualifications

In the past five decades, we have produced over 5,000 global graduates who have gone on to become leaders and experts in their own creative fields.

Our courses are fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifying Agency (MQA), and our Foundation and Diplomas give you the option to progress onto the 3+0 or UK Transfer Degree programmes.

Students have a choice of a pre-u foundation programme, diplomas, in Marketing & Advertising, Mass Comm, Graphic Design, Film & Broadcasting. After the foundation or diploma, our students can enrol for University of Sunderland (UoS) degrees in advertising & design, or media & communication, film production and a Veritas University College (VUC) degree in digital marketing & branding.
All these are 3+0 degrees taught at IACT College, where the students will graduate with a UoS or VUC degree.

Students also have a choice of UK Transfer degrees where IACT College partners with world-class universities in the UK, like University of Sunderland, Northumbria University, Sheffield Hallam University, University of Essex, University of Derby, University of Hertfordshire, Northampton University and the University of the West of England.

2. Project-Based Learning

In the Project-Based Learning (PBL) system, lecturers provide students with the knowledge framework. The student applies this knowledge and skills to tackle real life industry projects/assignments from our industry collaborations.

By working on the real life project, their learning is an intensive skills and knowledge acquisition and application experience. Real life projects could range from a simple packaging design to a digital marketing and advertising campaign, to a digital film production exercise, to organising a real life public relations event, and more.
